I’m Emory Nihipali, Jr. "Island Emory" creator of the “Little Grass Shack,” where I play the beautiful music of the islands of the South Pacific on Saturday mornings. The line up for the show consists of Traditional and Contemporary Hawaiian music, Slack-key artists, and Hawaiian Reggae, also known as Jawaiian. I also play music from areas surrounding the islands of Hawaii, such as Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and others. “The Little Grass Shack” brings the spirit of aloha to its home KUNV and via the airwaves, and hopes to touch people in different ways. I am ever so grateful to be able to provide this service to our community and the people visiting or passing through Las Vegas. This show has given me the inner peace that comes from my love for the music, for the people, and for the “aloha spirit.”
