Na Hoku Hanohano Award Winner
Female Vocalist of the Year 2009
Natalie Ai Kamauu in the LGS

Mahalo nui loa going out to Nat, Iolani, and Chad for stopping on into the Little Grass Shack.  What a great pleasure it was not only for the LGS crew, but for all of Las Vegas to spend some time on-air with such a talented ohana.

Da Webmastah captured the interview and put together a great video recap.  Mahalo braddah for doing a great job on the recap.  Watch until the end bacause Nat's live singing at the end is pure chicken skin!

If you want, submit your feedback below in our comment form and we will reply to any feedback that needs to be addressed.  Aloha!

Congratulations going out to our very own Emory Nihipali, founder of The Little Grass Shack Radio show. Host "Island Emory" was named the KLAS Channel 8 Community Spirit Award recipient for the month of May 2009.

This is the TV coverage devoted to this special award.  On behalf of the the rest of the LGS crew and all of the faithful listeners we once again say "CONGRATULATIONS" Emory on this well deserved recognition and award.

The Little Grass Shack Hawaiian radio show is broadcasted Saturday mornings now with a new time from from 10AM - 1PM on KUNV-FM 91.5 in Las Vegas.  The LGS first hit the airwaves of KUNV-FM back in August 2001.  Although there have been many changes in the show's time slot and personnel, two things have always remained consistent.  Island Emory continues to bring the spirit of the Islands to the people of Las Vegas through hosting the program and Big Island Emory is still producing the show and taking your phone calls. More...
