"Go After Your Dreams"

I, Pu'ukani Sebala have been around music my entire life and it has always been a dream of mine to make
it big in the music industry someday. Well after a disastrous solo singing with my church choir in a concert , my fate
was clearly decided. Instead of making music I then chose to present music, thus beginning a career in radio
broadcasting.
After a few years working on-air and behind the scenes in commercial radio I decided to start my own radio
station. On July 7th, 2004 Pipeline 2 Paradise Radio was born.
As owner and operator, I've had the privilege to share in the dreams of many artists who hold the same aspirations
I held when I was young. For many, Pipeline 2 Paradise radio has been the only voice for their talents. Many artists
have been denied airplay from commercial radio, yet their music are very deserving of exposure. Again I see it as an
honor to be a part of so many artists musical journey.
With this young lady the same holds true! I first heard of Jordyn Taylor a few months back while navigating
through Myspace.com. I watched her fan base grow tremendously and her popularity soared to great heights almost
instantly. Little did I know that our degrees of seperation was closer than I knew. I soon found out that Jordyn
has been recording her debut album right here in Las Vegas. Her producer, Steve Ventic also produced the music of Keola
Santos, an artist and friend of mine that I also interviewed in the past. Steve contacted me one day and told me about
a new song Jordyn was recording called "Get Up To Get Down." I listened to it and instantly vibed to the rhythm
and flow of the song. I was truly impressed with her voice and her image. A few weeks later Steve asked me
if I would want an exclusive release on Jordyn's first release "Get Up To Get Down." Without hesitaion I said yes!
I quickly prepared the song for airplay and released it that very same night. As I played it for the worldwide
audience for the first time a humbling feeling fell upon me. I realized I was granted the opportunity to
experience the beginning stages of a young lady who in my opnion will have a huge and successful career in music.
I'm told by Steve that Jordyn's debut album is almost done. Her fan base is growing rapidly and
there's a buzz transmitting throughout the music industry not only in the Hawaiian Islands, but nationally. Her music
has already started to create positive waves back in Hawaii and I guarantee once her national campaign is launched, she
will be gracing stages across the nation. As you'll soon realize, not only does she look and sound great, but she also
possesses a great attitude.
With that I present to you a pop star in the making. A young lady with a promising future and
I'm honored to have the privilege to present her music and mana'o to you. Paradise Most Wanted #6 is Jordyn
Taylor.

Where were you born and
raised and what is one thing that makes your hometown special?
I was born in a
small town out of Los
Angeles called Lakewood. I was raised between
Cali and New Mexico as a
child. Where I lived in Southern California
had alot of diversity and I was able to harmonize myself with many cultures and lifestyles.
You’re getting ready
to launch a National campaign with your music. How would you describe your musical style and has your style been compared
to any other accomplished artist?
My music is a combination
of Pop and R&B with a lil’ Island flavor. I get alot of people telling me
that my songs are very unique and not your "average joe" kinda sound...again, I think my sound is kinda original so it doesn’t
leave much to compare with.
Whom do you consider major
influences on your music up to this point in your young career? (Artists, People within the industry, Family, etc.)
Beyonce is
incredible. She has given women in the industry a standard to try and reach....I hope to one day be in the same room
performing alongside of her. Growing up I had music all around me...From my Grandfather,
Father, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins....there were always band practices going on. I remember the living room as a kind
of music practice room.
It’s obvious that
music is a true passion of yours. Is it your first passion?
Music is definitely
my passion. I have wanted to be a part of the music influence since I was a rug rat(LOL), but there’s nothing
else I would luv to do than be recognized around the world as a true artist.
What was the first song
you remember ever performing in front of an audience?
It was "Only Hope"
by Mandy Moore. I did it as my talent in a beauty contest. I actually ended up winning the pageant and the talent competition......who would have thought?....lol
What other passions or
hobbies do you have?
I love shopping.....Hey,
You asked.....hehehe. I think really just being able to sit back with friends
and family is my greatest hobby.
Talk about any recent experiences
and places your music has lead you to be a part of.
Wow...lets see...well
I have been able to get in alot of places young girls my age don't usually get to. Clubs, Concerts, Parties for example,,,i'm
always VIPd to those events now.....I can't complain. I've even had TV shows call me to be on....It's been amazing!
You have a great following
through Myspace.com, over 130,000+ friends in your network and counting. That’s amazing Jordyn!! How does it feel
to have so many loyal supporters and fans encouraging you on and what’s your message to all these fans you have in Myspace?

Luv You!!!....Myspace has unlocked alot of doors for Jordyn Taylor. It has allowed me to be heard and seen all over
the world. Before Myspace, it was virtually impossible to get so much promotion without lots of money and a big label
deal.
Do you have any rituals
or routines you do before performances?
Before any show
or performance, I do the classic voice warm-up and a prayer thanking God for his hand in everything we do.
It must be tough at times
continually traveling to and from. Talk about the support of your family through
your exciting journey.
My parents
have been my biggest blessing. They have sacrificed unheard of time and
effort to make this music thing work. I can't thank them enough for their love and support. I also have to say
that my two brothers, Michael and Justin, have been very patient and supportive when it comes down to their sacrifice for
me too.
Is it tough as a teen juggling
school and your music career?
I have actually
stopped going to the standard school system. I go to a type of homeschool program that has allowed for my schedule.
I think education is still very important and I will not grow musically without a good solid education. I still hope
to go to college one day. NO, not just to wait for SPRING BREAK....lol
What advice can you give
any other young rising stars who aspire to be successful?
Don't ever give
up on your dreams. This world is full of people just like you and me. All
artist were nobodys at one time in their lives....it’s all about the work you put in.....Go after your dreams!!!
